2-CHANNEL ALL-IN-ONE DJ CONTROLLER

 AlphaTheta Corporation has announced the release of the new XDJ-RX3 from its Pioneer DJ brand. This 2-channel all-in-one DJ system boasts all the flexibility and convenience of its predecessor and packs a host of new features straight from the CDJ-3000 player and DJM-900NXS2 mixer, plus an all-new 10.1-inch touchscreen.
 If you need an easily portable setup that you can take to parties and events, or even set up in a bar or small venue, the XDJ-RX3 has you covered. It’s also ideal if you simply want to practice at home but feel comfortable using a CDJ+DJM setup in the club. Just as before, you can choose to play rekordbox-analysed tracks from USB drives, or connect a laptop to unlock rekordbox’s Performance mode. It also includes support for Serato DJ Pro – coming early 2022.
 The XDJ-RX3's 10.1-inch touch screen has a higher resolution and frame rate than its predecessor. It features a brand-new interface, making it quicker and easier to browse your music and control FX, while the navigation section comes from the CDJ-3000 for intuitive navigation through playlists. With the new Playlist Bank feature, you can quickly access your four favourite playlists with just one touch, while Touch Preview gives you the chance to listen to any part of a track without even loading it onto the deck. You can switch between viewing the pad status or the Beat FX and X-Pad with a tap on the screen, and with support for the 3Band Waveform feature – also derived from the CDJ-3000 – you can see the volume levels of different frequency ranges in tracks analysed by rekordbox for a clear visual representation of how they'll sound.
 Keeping track of what’s loaded on the XDJ-RX3’s decks is easy thanks to the On Jog Display, which shows important information or track artwork on the LCD screen in the centre of each jog wheel. You can also customise the “weight” of the jogs by adjusting the Feeling Adjust knob for each one.

 Featuring a new audio design that eliminates unwanted external noise, the XDJ-RX3 has been finely tuned to produce clear, natural sound that your audience can listen to for extended periods of time in comfort. You'll notice that the design is also inherited from standard Pioneer DJ gear, with stand-out features such as the illumination around the play/cue buttons and the full-colour On Jog Display.
 To use the XDJ-RX3 with rekordbox Performance mode, you need to update to the latest version of the rekordbox software for Mac/Windows (ver. 6.6.0), which will be released on November 16, 2021. From early 2022, you'll be able to use the unit with Serato DJ Pro by updating to the latest version of the software.
